The largest municipal underground complex in the Czech Republic can be found in Znojmo.
The labyrinth of corridors beneath the center of Znojmo, built in four levels, has approximately 30 km of passages. It is one of the largest labyrinths in Central Europe. Since March 15, 2009, a new Mysterious Underground Exhibition has been opened, where you can find fairy-tale characters, an alchemist's workshop, animated rocks, or a sample of prison dungeons.
Open: May-September daily 9-17, July-August 9-18, October-April Mon-Sat 10-17, Sun 13-16. For groups by appointment at any time. Last tour one hour before closing. European Heritage Days September 19, 9:00-17:00, last tour at 4:00 PM.
